After almost 1 year of beta testing, we can now confidently say that Noteb.com is a solid laptop database and search engine with over 6 million possible laptop configurations derived from 900 laptop models.
The search engine has now been improved to easily recommend laptops from multiple producers, giving each user the best options for her or his needs. For users looking to build their own notebook configuration, the website offers compatibility guidance in both searching and customizing laptop models. Users can also compare up to four different laptops and make their choice based on a complex rating system that evaluates each laptop characteristic against other laptops on the market, including battery life, weight, processing power, storage size, and build materials.
The website currently features the latest laptop models and is constantly updated to keep up with market changes. Information is sourced from the U.S. and West European markets. The service is of course free to use and is not part of any referencing program.
We are not done though, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done and many things that can be improved and will be improved.
As major features for the future, we plan to better incorporate price data from on-line retailers and offer database access to third-party websites and mobile apps.
